R-V Industries, Inc. Aquires R.W. Hartnett
October 3, 2023: R-V Industries, a leading provider of industrial engineering and manufacturing solutions announces the acquisition of R.W. Hartnett (“Hartnett”), located in Philadelphia, PA. Hartnett, founded in 1880, is the most experienced source for pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and confectionary printing, laser writing/drilling, and vision inspection equipment.

The Boyce family – Anne, Keith, Sean, and Kyle – will continue managing the operation and team of 32 employees out of the Philadelphia, PA facility. Hartnett will continue to operate under the R.W. Hartnett name, as a division of R-V Industries, ensuring a smooth transition for employees and clients.

A History of Growth Through Acquisition
The Hartnett acquisition continues R-V’s history of strategic growth through acquisition, following its recent acquisitions of Ackley Machine Corporation, MBC Aerosol, Genesis Packaging Technologies, AccuDraft, and Beta Star Life Science Equipment.

The R.W. Hartnett acquisition adds another Pennsylvania manufacturing location to R-V’s existing Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Illinois facilities.
R.W. Hartnett was founded in 1880 on “Printers Row” in Philadelphia to service printing machines. Hartnett is recognized as a leader in confectionary and pharmaceutical printing, laser marking, laser drilling, and vision inspection technology.
