Through our in-house engineering team, and a wide variety of specialists in manufacturing and assembly, we offer custom-designed forming equipment to the paper/boxboard and nonwoven industries.
Before starting any forming equipment capital projects, we work with you to identify any issues currently happening in the forming section. Issues we identify are typically centered in equipment and process issues during formation and drainage. Our conclusions, gathered from analysis of the equipment, process flow, and process environment, guide our engineering team in the design of a new forming section.
Across the nation, our fourdrinier machines have been applied to various types of paper grades including toweling, fine, and specialty grades. With each customer’s unique application we are able to adopt versatile designs to meet their needs while maintaining cost-efficiency.
We have supplied fourdrinier sections for entire machine replacement projects and fourdrinier-only projects. Our fourdriniers deliver excellent performance at a variety of speeds, from 300 FPM to 2,500 FPM. At lower speeds, a shaking breast roll arrangement is used for optimal formation. For high-speed fourdriniers where time is paramount, like a machine supplied to a linerboard manufacturer in New York, the front lift design and pivoting breast roll mean wire changes can be accomplished in under an hour.
