Manufacturing Capabilities

Our capabilities include full-service prefabrication, fabrication, machining, assembly, finishing, and inspection using a range of advanced machinery and cutting-edge metal fabrication techniques.

With our state-of-the-art equipment and over 160,000 square feet of in-house manufacturing and assembly space, R-V is your source for quality metal fabrication to meet your biggest equipment challenges. We specialize in build-to-print manufacturing, combining the talents of our engineering, design, and fabrication departments.

HEAVY FABRICATION CAPABILITIES

At R-V, we operate two separate heavy plate fabrication facilities: our headquarters and manufacturing facilities in Honey Brook, PA, and our manufacturing facility in Morgantown, PA. These facilities are outfitted with all of the high-quality equipment needed to give us comprehensive metal fabrication capabilities.

We also offer a wide range of machining capabilities from small and large prototype parts, production run parts to large custom vessel-type weldments. Most of our machinists have over 30 years of experience and are well-adaptive to machining all types of materials.

Our inspection department is backed up by a Portable Faro Arm CMM and a Creaform Portable 3D Laser Scanner. Our inspection tools are calibrated annually by a third party. Our machining capabilities are backed up by AutoCad, Solidworks and GibbsCam programming software using our in-house engineering department.

Prefabrication Equipment

Burning

(3) cutting systems, (3) plasma burners and (1) torch with computerized controls
(1) high definition plasma burner with beveling capabilities up to +/- 520 27.3 feet of effective cut length with +/- 0.015″ accuracy in 72″ of travel

Forming

(3) press brakes

Rolling

Ability to roll whole or half-pipe
Roll 3″ x 0.125″ thick half pipe down to 45″ diameter with most alloys
For harder alloys (2205 and Inconel), half pipe can be rolled to 72″ diameter
1″ and 1.5″ whole pipe can be rolled to 24″ diameter
2″ and 3″ whole pipe can be rolled to 32″ diameter
Roundo R6S machine can roll many structural shapes:
- Angle leg (in or out)
